What happens if you don’t enroll?

If you don’t enroll, your current elections will carry forward, except for Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) contributions, which require an update each year.

What should I do if I have questions or need help?

If you have questions, need help enrolling, or aren’t quite sure where to start, call the PlanSource Benefits Resource Center at 1-844-347-2498.

How to enroll

When you’re ready to enroll, log in to PlanSource.

  1. Log in. Your username is the first four letters of your first name, the last three digits of your Social Security number, the day of your birth and the last two digits of your birth year (FFFF###DDYY). If you have logged in previously and can’t remember your password, you can request a password reset.
  2. Review your personal information, dependents, and beneficiaries. Make any adjustments needed. If you’re enrolling new dependents, you’ll need information like Social Security numbers and dates of birth to add dependents. It’s your responsibility to ensure you only have eligible dependents on your plan. You can remove any ineligible dependents during Open Enrollment each year without repercussion.

Any dependent you enroll in IMI plans must be a verified dependent. Anytime you add new dependents, proof of dependency will need to be provided within 30 days. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility or loss of coverage.
  3. Make your elections. Choose your benefits and select “Save” after each one. Don’t forget, if you want to contribute to an HSA or FSA in 2027, you need to make an election during Open Enrollment. Once you’re done, double check your selections to make sure you have everything you need.
  4. Submit your enrollment. Review your elections and print or save your confirmation statement. This is your evidence of enrollment.

If you enrolled in a new medical plan, check your mail in late December for your new ID cards. If you enrolled in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Limited Purpose FSA, or Health Savings Account, you’ll receive a debit card in the mail in December. Be sure to check your mail carefully because these are usually sent in an unmarked envelope.

This is your annual opportunity to update your benefits for the year ahead. If you don’t take action now, your current elections will carry over into 2027, except any contribution amounts you’ve set for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) or Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). Those need to be updated each year.

The only other chance to update your benefits during the year is if you experience a qualifying life event, like getting married or divorced, welcoming a child, or losing coverage elsewhere.
