We’re glad you’re here!
As a new hire, there’s a lot to know — especially when it comes to choosing benefits that fit you and your family. The most important thing: You must enroll within 30 days of your hire date.
You’re in the right place to learn about your new IMI benefits. Before you enroll, take a moment to explore the plans and programs available to you.
Start by reviewing the medical, dental, and vision options. On this site, you can learn about mental health support, benefits to help you save money, and benefits that provide protection for you and your family. You can also read our Benefits Guide.
Bookmark this site so you can quickly return whenever you need benefits information and resources. Share this site with your spouse too.
IMPORTANT: If you don’t enroll within 30 days, you’ll only receive company-paid benefits, like Basic Life Insurance and Disability. That means you’ll miss out on medical, dental, and vision coverage. You won’t be able to enroll until the next Open Enrollment or after a qualifying life event (like getting married or welcoming a child).
Once you’ve explored your options, it’s time to enroll in benefits for yourself and your eligible dependents. You must enroll on PlanSource within 30 days of your hire date to have coverage.
At the end of the enrollment process, remember to save or print the confirmation for your records.
Your coverage begins on the first of the month following your date of hire if you enroll within 30 days.
The 401(k) is a tax-advantaged way to save for retirement, and IMI matches up to 6% of what you contribute. That’s free money for your future. You can set up your 401(k) account and choose your contribution rate anytime by logging in to Charles Schwab.
If you don’t set your 401(k) contribution amount within 60 days of your hire date, you’ll be automatically enrolled at a 3% deferral rate. You can change your contribution at any time through your Charles Schwab account.
Try to contribute at least 6% to get the most money from IMI.
You are always 100% vested in your contributions and IMI’s match. That means the full amount of money in your 401(k) account is always yours.
Protect your loved ones and your assets by adding a beneficiary. This lets us know who should receive your benefit in the event of your death. If you don't designate a beneficiary, the state will decide how and when your benefit pays out.
It’s also a good idea to review your beneficiary designation annually to make sure the people you want to receive a benefit are correct.
Once you enroll, download your carrier apps to manage your benefits on the go. Find all carrier links and phone numbers on the Contacts page.
If you have general questions about the benefits available to you or need help enrolling, call the PlanSource Benefits Resource Center at 1-844-347-2498.
If you have specific questions about a particular plan or benefit, reach out to the carrier directly. Visit the Contacts page for details.
