Take the time you need to focus on what matters most.
IMI offers a variety of leave options to benefits-eligible employees so you can help take care of yourself and your family.
The amount of leave available depends on the leave reason and type.

One week paid leave to support emotional and physical recovery.
12 extra weeks of paid leave if your newborn needs special care.
Paid time off for fertility treatments.
Two weeks paid leave to support your transition and wellbeing.
Time off, counseling, and flexible work to help you thrive mentally and emotionally.
Two to 12 months of unpaid leave to focus on what matters most to you, whether it’s traveling, studying, or simply recharging.
Flexibility for other personal challenges.
One paid day each year to support causes you care about.
Notify your supervisor and HR partner as soon as possible. Submit a formal leave request to the leave team at leave@imiamericasinc.com. Include your HR partner on all communications related to your leave, so they can stay in the loop.
Be sure to complete any forms or paperwork from the leave team by the deadline requested — otherwise, your leave may be denied or delayed. If you’re taking Short-term Disability, file your claim with Lincoln Financial. If your state also offers a paid leave program, you’ll need to file a claim there too. Reach out to leave@imiamericasinc.com with any questions or concerns.
If your leave dates change, notify your supervisor, your HR partner, and the leave team by emailing leave@imiamericasinc.com. When you’re ready to return to work, the leave team will connect with you two weeks before your return-to-work date to confirm your plans and walk through the transition — or to discuss an extension, if you need one.
IMI automatically provides disability insurance at no cost to you. This coverage replaces part of your income if you need time away due to an illness, injury, or other eligible situation including maternity.
The EAP offers free, confidential counseling and referrals for you and your family, whether you need help finding child care, coping with grief, or managing a stressful transition.
If your leave is due to a critical illness, accident or hospital stay, Supplemental Insurance pays you a cash benefit you can use however you need — rent, deductibles, groceries, or anything else.
